This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the Technical Project Management team
• Direct intricate technical infrastructure initiatives that facilitate AI infrastructure deployment and operational remediation efforts
• Ensure project delivery is safe, timely, and meets all technical, operational, and business specifications
• Formulate execution plans and orchestrate project activities from inception to operational transfer
• Manage several simultaneous technical projects
• Lead initiatives involving Rack & Stack, GPU servers, storage, network hardware, fiber optics, structured cabling, cross-connects, provisioning, commissioning, client delivery, and operational readiness
• Facilitate implementation across Engineering, Operations, Site Leadership, Procurement, OEM vendors, and external service providers
• Carry out infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, optimizations, recoveries, reliability enhancements, capacity optimization, lifecycle management, remediation, corrective actions, and modernization projects
• Assist Technical Infrastructure Program Managers with enterprise remediation plans
• Create and maintain integrated project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path tasks
• Coordinate implementation sequencing among technical teams
• Monitor schedule adherence and manage project risks
• Aid procurement coordination for long-lead technical equipment
• Maintain project forecasts and delivery reports
• Cultivate relationships across internal teams and external vendors
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Lead project meetings and coordinate cross-functional delivery efforts
• Appropriately escalate issues as needed
• Manage project scope, schedules, action items, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
• Track project performance against established objectives
• Prepare executive-level reports and status updates
• Maintain project documentation throughout its lifecycle
• Coordinate readiness for implementation, technical deployment, commissioning, customer onboarding, operational handoff, and go-live readiness
• Identify opportunities for delivery practice enhancements
• Develop reusable project templates and standards
• Contribute to the advancement of IREN's Technical Program Management organization
• Capture lessons learned and suggest process improvements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Over 7 years of experience in Technical Project Management
• Proven track record in delivering complex technical infrastructure projects
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional engineering and operational teams
• Strong background in managing integrated project schedules
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess a flexible approach to work hours
• Willingness to travel occasionally across Canadian and US operations
