Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee strategic initiatives from their inception through to ongoing support.

• Assume full responsibility for the delivery of programs.

• Report on program benefits to Executive Sponsors and Governance Boards.

• Guide the definition, planning, scope, and execution of programs.

• Track program performance, foresee potential risks and challenges, and apply mitigation strategies.

• Develop comprehensive program plans, detailed work breakdown structures, and necessary deliverables.

• Recognize program dependencies and interdependencies.

• Assess, size, and lead the implementation of transformation and growth initiatives.

• Foster stakeholder alignment and relay program updates to executive sponsors and governance bodies.

• Operate independently in uncertain situations to establish clear pathways forward.

• Embrace best-practice standards and drive continuous enhancements to PMO processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.

• Professional background as a Project Manager/Program Manager within an IT setting.

• Adequate technical knowledge to gain credibility with technical teams and assess risks and issues objectively.

• Experience in managing projects/programs that support Enterprise Applications.

• Proven ability to manage external implementation partners.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.

• A successful history of stakeholder management and facilitating communication among senior leadership and technical teams.
