This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead automation initiatives that create quantifiable business value across Penn Entertainment.
• Oversee the complete automation lifecycle, from spotting opportunities to delivering and refining solutions.
• Explore AI-enhanced solutions that align with the company's comprehensive AI strategy.
• Collaborate with RPA experts, AI strategists, and business leaders to uncover opportunities and develop solutions.
• Identify and evaluate automation and process-improvement prospects across various business units.
• Work with stakeholders to comprehend challenges, gather requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
• Partner with internal development teams and external vendors to design, construct, and implement automation solutions.
• Ensure that automation and AI-supported solutions are feasible, scalable, and consistent with company goals and standards.
• Manage an automation initiative portfolio that balances quick wins with longer-term strategic projects.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and maintain a self-service intake process for automation proposals.
• Assess opportunities based on criteria such as effort, risk, return on investment, compliance, and technical feasibility.
• Supervise solution delivery and maintain communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Handle vendor selection, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, security, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.
• Define and monitor KPIs, including hours saved, error reduction, cycle-time improvement, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of emerging automation and AI technologies and propose new methods.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, building, and managing automation solutions, including workflow automation or scripting.
• Proficient in at least one leading automation platform, such as UiPath or Power Automate.
• Capability to assess existing processes and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement, increased efficiency, and automation.
• Proven track record of achieving measurable business efficiency improvements through automation.
• Experience collaborating with internal engineering or development teams to provide technical solutions.
• Background in managing external vendors or solution providers, including selection, onboarding, and performance management.
• Familiarity with evaluating and implementing AI-supported solutions for process enhancement.
• Knowledge of aligning AI-supported solutions with a company's overarching AI strategy.
• Strong program management skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in prioritizing initiatives and steering projects to completion.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in regulated or high-scale industries such as gaming, fintech, or entertainment is advantageous.
