Senior Technical Program Manager, Intelligent Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead automation initiatives that provide measurable business value throughout Penn Entertainment.

• Oversee the entire automation lifecycle, from opportunity identification to delivery and optimization.

• Collaborate with RPA experts, AI strategists, and business leaders to pinpoint opportunities, develop solutions, and enhance organizational impact.

• Identify and evaluate automation and process-improvement prospects across various business units.

• Partner with stakeholders to grasp pain points, collect requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.

• Work alongside internal development teams and external vendors to design, construct, and implement automation solutions.

• Ensure that automation and AI-supported solutions are practical, scalable, and in line with company objectives and standards.

• Maintain an automation portfolio that balances quick wins with strategic initiatives.

• Facilitate discovery sessions and uphold a self-service intake process for automation proposals.

• Assess opportunities based on criteria such as effort, risk, return on investment, compliance, and technical feasibility.

• Supervise solution delivery while ensuring effective communication and alignment with internal teams and external partners.

• Manage the selection, onboarding, and performance tracking of vendors.

• Collaborate with engineering, data, security, and product teams to ensure integration and operational readiness.

• Define and monitor KPIs, including hours saved, error reduction, cycle-time improvement, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Stay updated on emerging automation and AI technologies and suggest new methodologies.

• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, building, and managing automation solutions, including workflow automation or scripting.

• Hands-on proficiency in at least one leading automation platform, such as UiPath or Power Automate.

• Capability to assess existing processes and identify areas for improvement, increased efficiency, and automation.

• Proven track record of delivering business efficiency enhancements through automation with measurable outcomes.

• Experience collaborating with internal engineering or development teams to provide technical solutions.

• Familiarity with managing external vendors or solution providers, covering selection, onboarding, and performance management.

• Knowledge of evaluating and implementing AI-supported solutions for process improvement, aligning them with a comprehensive AI strategy.

• Strong skills in program management and stakeholder influence.

• Ability to prioritize initiatives and drive projects to successful completion.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to translate technical concepts into business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in regulated or high-scale industries such as gaming, fintech, or entertainment is advantageous.
