This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.
• Lead the expansion of capacity across Nebius data centers.
• Examine historical and current cloud resource usage to uncover trends, anomalies, and potential capacity limitations.
• Develop and uphold infrastructure capacity forecasts, converting them into capacity requirements for multiple data centers.
• Initiate capacity requests and collaborate with Supply Chain teams throughout the purchasing and delivery process.
• Ensure comprehensive visibility of capacity expansions from forecasting and requirements to procurement, delivery, installation, deployment, and customer availability.
• Collaborate with data center teams to coordinate expansion plans, including installation timelines and infrastructure preparedness.
• Work with engineering teams to strategize the deployment of new capacity.
• Provide engineering, product, and business stakeholders with updates regarding capacity plans, delivery timelines, status, dependencies, and risks.
• Engage across data analysis, infrastructure engineering, procurement, data center operations, and product teams.
• Proven experience in technical project/program management, data analytics, capacity planning, infrastructure planning, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions grounded in quantitative data.
• Familiarity with fundamental statistical concepts and forecasting methods, along with an awareness of their practical limitations.
• Capability to communicate effectively with infrastructure engineers and comprehend technical constraints and dependencies.
• Proficient in coordinating work across several independent teams without relying on direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convert technical and analytical information into clear plans, decisions, risks, and status updates for various audiences.
• Ownership of outcomes, including the proactive identification of issues, driving decisions, following up on commitments, and ensuring that problems do not fall through the cracks between teams.
• Proficiency in SQL querying is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and BI tools like Grafana, DataLens, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge in capacity planning, demand forecasting, or infrastructure resource management is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud or data center infrastructure architecture, encompassing servers, racks, compute, storage, networking, and operational dependencies is advantageous.
• Experience with procurement, hardware supply chains, or physical infrastructure deployments is a plus.
