Senior Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete program delivery for enterprise technology projects, encompassing scoping, planning, risk management, status updates, and stakeholder alignment.

• Collaborate with business, product, UX, and software engineering teams to synchronize priorities and shape the technology roadmap.

• Identify and oversee cross-functional dependencies before they escalate into blockers.

• Manage system integrations across Slate’s technology ecosystem and ensure reliable, well-documented data flows.

• Analyze, document, and consistently enhance end-to-end business processes across enterprise systems and operational workflows.

• Recognize process gaps, foster alignment, and establish sustainable standards.

• Create and implement change management strategies for system deployments and process adjustments.

• Facilitate stakeholder communication and training, while monitoring adoption rates.

• Develop and uphold PMO standards, including templates, governance frameworks, meeting schedules, RAID log practices, and reporting structures.

• Lead regular governance forums and monitor action items.

• Generate executive-ready documentation to keep leadership updated and programs aligned.

• Streamline ambiguous, cross-functional tasks while minimizing unnecessary bureaucracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in program or project management within enterprise IT, digital transformation, or technology implementation roles.

• Ideally experienced in manufacturing, automotive, or complex hardware environments.

• Practical experience in managing full-cycle implementations from requirements gathering to hypercare support.

• Familiarity with system integration patterns, API-based connectivity, and middleware concepts.

• Capability to support technical teams responsible for coding integrations.

• Ability to produce and maintain process maps, SOPs, RACI matrices, and workflow documentation suitable for training and audit purposes.

• Knowledge of structured change management methodologies and experience applying them during technology rollouts.

• Proficiency in program tracking tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar applications.

• Proficient with documentation platforms such as Confluence.

• Skilled in executive reporting formats.

• PMP or an equivalent certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with DV/PV/SOP milestone structures, BOM management, or shop-floor operations is a significant advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
