Senior Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the definition, planning, scope, and execution of designated programs.

• Monitor the health status of programs to proactively identify risks and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.

• Develop comprehensive integrated program plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, to ensure program success.

• Recognize dependencies and interdependencies among programs, effectively scoping, sizing, and leading the implementation of identified transformation and growth opportunities.

• Foster stakeholder alignment and communicate program status to executive sponsors and governance forums.

• Operate independently and confidently in uncertain situations to establish clear pathways forward for teams.

• Embrace best-practice guidelines to influence and execute ongoing improvements to PMO processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Professional experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager within an IT organization.

• Adequate technical background to gain credibility with technical teams.

• Experience managing projects or programs associated with infrastructure upgrades and installations.

• Proven experience overseeing external implementation providers.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional presentation and communication capabilities.

• A successful history of stakeholder management.
