Senior Technical Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the definition and implementation of state-of-the-art medical devices that fulfill user requirements, clinical standards, business goals, and regulatory mandates.

• Take ownership of product specifications, user requirements, intended applications, product roadmaps, usability initiatives, and design control documentation.

• Convert customer and clinical insights into actionable product specifications and development priorities.

• Direct cross-functional product planning from initial concept to market introduction.

• Manage product development processes and facilitate discussions on technical trade-offs.

• Collaborate with systems, hardware, firmware, software, algorithms, manufacturing, quality assurance, clinical, regulatory, business development, operations, and external teams.

• Propel product development through the stages of concept, feasibility, verification, validation, manufacturing transfer, and ongoing engineering support.

• Oversee usability studies, customer assessments, clinical feedback, and product validation activities.

• Assist in design control processes, requirements traceability, risk management, design reviews, and regulatory documentation.

• Promote Agile product development methodologies across various initiatives and product portfolios.

• Engage with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external partners on product development, manufacturing preparedness, and launch activities.

• Convey product status, decisions, risks, and roadmap updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.

• 5–8 years of experience in product management, systems engineering, device development, or similar technical leadership positions.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the development and commercialization of hardware, medical devices, wearables, or other multidisciplinary products.

• Proficiency in translating customer, clinical, and business needs into product requirements, roadmaps, and development priorities.

• Experience collaborating with hardware, firmware, software, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Background in supporting products through design controls, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer, and commercialization processes.

• Strong technical understanding of engineering trade-offs concerning functionality, usability, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and timelines.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Experience in regulated industries, particularly medical devices, healthcare technology, or other safety-critical products is preferred.

• Familiarity with tools such as Ketryx, Jira, Figma, GitHub, Asana, or similar platforms is preferred.
