Senior Technical Product Manager – Documents Domain

📋 Description

• Establish the product vision and strategic direction for the Epic Documents Domain.

• Convert business objectives into actionable product strategies aligned with OKRs.

• Create product roadmaps and oversee daily backlog prioritization.

• Evaluate value, construct business cases, assess buy-versus-build options, and identify scaling prospects.

• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and user design teams within an agile framework.

• Handle dependencies, API transitions, and shared priorities with product management colleagues.

• Carry out user research and document comprehensive product requirements.

• Work with the design team to create user-friendly products that fulfill user needs.

• Oversee product launches, develop training materials, and produce end-user documentation.

• Identify product enhancements through quantitative analysis and user feedback.

• Provide executive-level updates on product status, risks, and decisions.

• Establish testing procedures and governance for onsite, monthly, and quarterly Epic assessments.

• Collaborate with training and change management teams to ensure readiness, adoption, and feedback for Epic releases.

• Assist in the approval of product iterations, schedules, releases, and roadmaps.

• Aid in recruiting, hiring, and developing product and informatics talent.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of pertinent experience in product management and/or healthcare informatics.

• Significant familiarity with document and/or data pipelines, HL7 and SMART-on-FHIR integration patterns, and UX/UI design for digital applications.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with engineering teams on technically intricate domain services.

• Capable of driving strategic decisions, taking ownership, and coordinating resources.

• Skilled in engaging with senior-level stakeholders and translating complex technical subjects for diverse audiences.

• Data-informed approach to assessing product impact and success in collaboration with analytics teams.

• Experience in change management and fostering user adoption of clinical technology.

• Epic certification(s) in relevant modules are preferred.

• Experience in Value-Based Care and Medicare/Medicare Advantage is preferred.

• Background in healthcare, digital health solutions, and/or EHR integrations is preferred.

• Expertise in electronic fax, medical record management, and order management is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years as a Product Manager is preferred.

• Familiarity with data analytics and core healthcare metrics is preferred.

• Proven ability to drive significant and measurable business impact is preferred.

• A BS in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
