Technical Product Manager – Developer Experience, SDK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy and roadmap for Ping’s Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and Hybrid frameworks.

• Simplify complex IAM functionalities into easily adoptable tools for developers.

• Collaborate with technical documentation and developer relations teams to create documentation, quick-start guides, and sample applications.

• Work alongside Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure SDK functionalities are in sync with platform releases.

• Engage with customers, partner engineers, and the open-source community to collect requirements and gather developer insights.

• Convert feedback into a well-prioritized backlog.

• Produce technical blog articles, engage in developer forums, and generate SDK-related content.

• Oversee the product lifecycle from initial concept to final release.

• Maintain the product backlog and establish success metrics, including SDK adoption and integration time.

• Keep track of app development trends, cross-platform frameworks, and identity standards.

• Employ AI-driven strategies for human and agent-first development.

• Evaluate and enhance Ping’s overall developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Hands-on experience in software development.

• Strong comprehension of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO/WebAuthn.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.

• Insight into how AI coding agents interact with SDKs, APIs, documentation, and developer tools.

• Capability to translate intricate architectural concepts into straightforward product requirements.

• Proven experience in defining and executing product roadmaps informed by market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.

• Background in managing a product backlog within an agile setting.

• Experience with client-side SDKs and REST APIs is advantageous.

• Familiarity with or strong interest in agentic infrastructure tools, AI software development cycles, and MCP is a plus.
