Senior Technical Lead, SAP FICO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, setup, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules.

• Offer functional expertise to facilitate implementation, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.

• Evaluate business requirements, identify process improvements, and suggest SAP best-practice solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and integration between FICO and SD modules.

• Diagnose and resolve SAP ECC FICO issues within production environments.

• Partner with ABAP and BASIS teams on enhancements, interfaces, and performance concerns.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes through accurate reporting.

• Provide support for audit processes, controls, and compliance requirements.

• Create functional specifications and perform unit and integration testing.

• Aid in user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Assist with SAP transports, testing cycles, and cutover activities.

• Foster FICO knowledge and competence among super users and subject matter experts throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 5–8 years of practical SAP FICO experience in both implementation and support settings.

• Profound understanding of business processes in Finance and Costing.

• Experience with integration points across the SAP ECC landscape.

• Familiarity with SAP BI/BW and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of working effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines accurately, maintaining a professional demeanor, and functioning well independently.

• SAP Certification in FICO is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 15%, depending on project requirements.
