Senior Technical Lead, SAP FICO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the technical team.

• Oversee the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules.

• Offer functional expertise for implementation, enhancements, and continuous maintenance.

• Assess business requirements, identify process enhancements, and recommend SAP best-practice solutions.

• Ensure data consistency and integration between the FICO and SD modules.

• Diagnose and resolve SAP ECC FICO issues within production settings.

• Collaborate with ABAP and BASIS teams on enhancements, interfaces, and performance challenges.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities while ensuring accurate reporting.

• Provide support for audit requirements, controls, and compliance obligations.

• Create functional specifications and carry out unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Facilitate SAP transports, testing cycles, and cutover activities.

• Enhance FICO knowledge and expertise among super users and subject matter experts across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of practical SAP FICO experience in implementation and support settings.

• Solid understanding of business processes in Finance and Costing.

• Experience with integration points within the SAP ECC landscape.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines accurately, maintain a professional demeanor, and operate independently.

• SAP Certification in FICO is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 15%, based on project requirements.
