Senior Technical Architect, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing/Customer Insights, and Dataverse.

• Convert business and functional requirements into scalable technical architectures and solution designs.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure successful project completion.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, workshops, fit-gap analyses, and solution design engagements.

• Create and develop custom CE components including C# plugins, custom workflow activities, JavaScript client-side customizations, Custom APIs, and Power Automate flows.

• Design and oversee Power Platform solutions, including model-driven applications, canvas applications, Power Pages, and Dataverse customizations.

• Establish development standards, coding practices, and governance frameworks.

• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization activities.

• Architect and support integrations between Dynamics 365 CE, ERP systems, and external applications.

• Lead Dual-write implementations between CE and Finance & Supply Chain Management.

• Architect Business Central integrations utilizing Dataverse connectors, Power Automate, and custom API-based integrations.

• Build and maintain integrations using KingswaySoft, Celigo, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, and middleware platforms.

• Advise clients on integration patterns based on data ownership, transaction volume, latency, scalability, and maintainability.

• Design and execute data migration strategies for CE implementations.

• Lead deployment planning and release management activities.

• Implement ALM strategies utilizing Azure DevOps, Power Platform Pipelines, managed solutions, and solution layering best practices.

• Establish deployment frameworks for Development, Testing, UAT, and Production environments.

• Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents and AI-powered experiences.

• Assess emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and recommend practical use cases for clients.

• Architect integrations between Copilot experiences and enterprise business systems.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues and architectural decisions.

• Promote solution quality, scalability, security, and maintainability throughout project lifecycles.

• Collaborate with ERP architects and consultants on cross-platform CE, Business Central, and Finance & Supply Chain Management solutions.

• Support sales and presales activities through solution demonstrations, discovery workshops, technical assessments, SOW development, effort estimation, and scope definition.

• Provide technical guidance during proposal and solutioning phases.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM/Dynamics 365 CE solutions.

• Profound expertise in Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure Integration Services.

• Strong development skills in C# .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power Automate, and REST APIs.

• Experience in designing and supporting enterprise integrations.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and contemporary ALM practices.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing consulting skills.

• Ability to lead technical teams and influence architectural decisions.

• Experience interfacing with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and/or Business Central.

• Expertise in Dual-write architecture and troubleshooting is preferred.

• Experience with KingswaySoft, Celigo, or similar integration platforms is preferred.

• Experience in designing Copilot Studio and AI-based business solutions is preferred.

• Microsoft or relevant Azure certifications are preferred.
