Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance backend solutions utilizing Java and microservices architectures.

• Engage in the functional and technical definition of new products and features.

• Develop backend functionalities adhering to the team's standards and best practices.

• Participate in code reviews (Pull Requests), providing feedback and learning from evaluations.

• Contribute to the design and evolution of REST APIs following API First standards (OpenAPI).

• Take part in the implementation of solutions based on microservices.

• Apply principles of Clean Code, SOLID, and design patterns.

• Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance development productivity and quality.

• Engage in environments based on Spec Driven Development (SDD) methodologies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in backend development with Java 17/21+.

• Demonstrable experience in Spec Driven Development (SDD).

• Professional use of Artificial Intelligence throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

• Experience in designing and developing REST APIs with an API First approach (OpenAPI/Swagger).

• Experience with microservices architectures and hexagonal architecture.

• Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, design patterns, and development best practices.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, particularly MariaDB and/or MongoDB.

• Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.

• Experience in developing and executing unit and integration tests.

• Ability to work independently, with initiative and a focus on continuous improvement.
