This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the entire recruiting process, encompassing sourcing, outreach, screening, coordination of interview loops, offer negotiations, and candidate engagement until their start date.
• Recruit experienced data and AI engineers, Databricks specialists, and client-facing consultants.
• Develop and sustain a pipeline for immediate hiring needs.
• Utilize Ashby as the primary applicant tracking system and record-keeping tool.
• Ensure data cleanliness, maintain accurate stages, and produce actionable reports.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify requirements and evaluate candidates based on the leveling framework.
• Uphold hiring standards and challenge any incorrect job requisitions or levels.
• Oversee the complete candidate experience.
• Evaluate candidates against established leveling criteria.
• Enhance the employer brand through referral networks, community engagement, and personalized outreach.
• Provide reports on time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, sources of hire, and pipeline coverage.
• Manage recruiting tools and relationships with external agencies, focusing on cost and performance metrics.
• Define the recruiting process, select appropriate tools, and shape Climb's hiring approach as it grows.
• A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with significant time spent in an in-house or embedded role rather than solely in an agency setting.
• Proven track record in successfully closing senior technical candidates, including specific instances of personally sourced, managed, and secured hires.
• Technical knowledge adequate for credible discussions about data engineering, cloud platforms, and AI systems.
• Ability to distinguish between strong engineers and architects.
• Demonstrated sourcing expertise with passive and hard-to-reach candidate pools.
• Hands-on experience managing an applicant tracking system and ensuring data integrity.
• Capability to work independently without a recruiting team.
• Clear and direct communication skills with hiring managers and executives.
• Willingness to challenge incorrect requisitions or levels when necessary.
• Experience in recruiting for consultancies, systems integrators, or professional services firms is preferred.
• Familiarity with hiring in the data and AI ecosystem, including platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or similar, is preferred.
• Experience with Ashby or a similar modern ATS is preferred.
• Background in establishing a recruiting function from an early stage is preferred.
• Understanding of leveling frameworks, compensation bands, and offer governance is preferred.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted tools in sourcing and screening processes is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel if necessary.
• Authorization to work in the country where the position is posted.
• No current or future sponsorship requirements to work in the United States.
