Senior Talent Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership within the Talent Production team

• Actively propose and secure guests, revenue opportunities, and content concepts

• Work alongside production colleagues to schedule guests and cultivate talent relationships across ESPN and Disney platforms

• Mentor less experienced team members, lead meetings, and oversee direct reports

• Manage relationships, bookings, and casting of athletes, coaches, and celebrity talent

• Recommend suitable and timely guests, along with alternative guest options for ESPN shows and platforms

• Build and sustain internal and external relationships with guests, SIDs, athletes, coaches, agents, and PR representatives

• Maintain a comprehensive database of talent and their representatives

• Drive editorial meetings with story ideas and guest possibilities

• Anticipate and forecast guest needs based on seasons, news relevance, and show demands

• Provide on-site support for guest bookings, commercial shoots, and events as necessary

• Be prepared to work non-traditional days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Outstanding communication abilities

• Capability to effectively plan and lead in a team setting

• Extensive knowledge of sports and a strong entertainment network

• Experience in guest/talent booking

• Understanding of the media industry

• Ability to thrive amidst frequent changes and deliver results

• Skill in preparing and submitting story ideas and guest segments

• Proficiency in writing detailed features and show proposals

• Ability to respond quickly and positively in sensitive and evolving production situations

• Exceptional leadership capabilities

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the sports media or broadcast industry (preferred)

• Familiarity with computers, search engines, internet searches, collaboration tools, and social media (preferred)

• High School Diploma is required
