Music Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Integrate independently created instrumentals and vocals into polished, release-ready tracks

• Align, tune, and edit vocals, balance mixes, and deliver final versions of tracks

• Master tracks to ensure uniform loudness, tone, and format compliance for streaming platforms

• Maintain organized metadata and archive stem files

• Review all submissions from producers and vocalists, accepting or returning work with detailed feedback

• Uphold written production guidelines

• Manage the production workflow from initial brief to final master

• Track deliverables, ownership, and weekly shipments

• Create reference briefs and checklists to ensure consistent deliveries

• Utilize stem separation, tuning, mastering, and AI audio tools

• Establish sound and quality benchmarks for Melotech's expanding catalogue

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in producing, mixing, or mastering commercially released music

• Proven track record of completing a high volume of tracks for release

• Familiarity with streaming loudness standards

• Proficient in Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, or comparable digital audio workstations (DAWs)

• Ability to present released tracks that you have finished

• Skilled in aligning, tuning, editing, and integrating vocals into instrumentals

• Experience in reviewing the work of others against established standards and providing clear, constructive feedback

• Background in managing production pipelines with multiple tracks, deadlines, and remote freelancers

• Versatility across pop, hip hop, electronic, lo-fi, and ambient music styles

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

• Portfolio or work samples are mandatory

• Resume is required

• Must be available to start immediately or provide the earliest possible start date

• Experience with AI music generation or stem separation tools is advantageous
