This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, employment and training programs, educational institutions, and community partners throughout Canada.

• Actively identify and engage potential candidates to meet current and future workforce demands.

• Assist in the recruitment process from initial sourcing and application through to interview, selection, and job offer.

• Keep precise and up-to-date records of recruitment metrics, open positions, and hiring status.

• Aid in high-volume recruitment efforts and address workforce needs for emerging projects.

• Support Castlemain’s recruitment and workforce requirements across Canada, including roles such as Claims Helper, project positions, corporate roles, and other emerging job opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, community engagement, employment services, workforce development, or a similar field.

• Proven experience in building relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, employment networks, educational institutions, or community partners.

• Knowledge of respectful and culturally informed engagement practices with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and organizations.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage respectfully with candidates, community partners, hiring managers, and leadership.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail; capable of managing multiple recruitment priorities in a dynamic, project-based environment.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally safe recruitment practices is considered an asset.

• Fluency in French is regarded as an asset.

• Must complete a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check as a condition of employment.
