Associate Director of Talent Acquisition

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners.

• Conduct pipeline reviews, hiring strategy sessions, and provide recruiter coaching.

• Establish recruiting objectives, priorities, and performance metrics for the team.

• Manage a portfolio of executive-level and high-impact searches.

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting from the intake process to offer negotiation and closure.

• Collaborate with senior leadership on hiring strategies for critical and challenging roles.

• Conduct structured interviews to evaluate technical abilities, leadership potential, and alignment with values.

• Create proactive talent pipelines through networking, sourcing, referrals, and market mapping.

• Advise hiring managers and executives on talent strategies, market trends, compensation, interview practices, and hiring decisions.

• Lead intake meetings and maintain communication regarding pipeline health and recruiting progress.

• Provide weekly reports to the executive team on role progress.

• Administer and take ownership of the Ashby ATS.

• Optimize workflows, interview processes, automations, templates, scorecards, and reporting.

• Ensure data integrity in recruiting and develop dashboards and analytics.

• Collaborate with People Operations, HR leadership, and Marketing on recruiting systems and employer branding.

• Promote inclusive recruiting practices and enhance the candidate experience.

• Assist with workforce planning, hiring forecasts, talent acquisition projects, and strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Preferred experience in a digital marketing agency, technology firm, or professional services organization.

• 2+ years of leadership experience managing recruiters or talent acquisition teams.

• Required recruiting experience in SEO, Paid Media, CRO, Programmatic, Content, Creative, and Marketing Ops/Rev Ops.

• Proven success in recruiting executive, leadership, and highly specialized roles while managing full-cycle recruiting.

• Advanced sourcing strategies utilizing Boolean searches, networking, referrals, market mapping, and creative sourcing techniques.

• Proficient user of an ATS and other recruitment tools.

• Experience with recruitment analytics and data-driven hiring practices.

• Preferred experience in recruiting across global markets.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management with senior leaders and hiring managers.

• Strong project management capabilities and ability to handle competing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong executive presence.

• Basic knowledge of compliance and legal requirements across multiple countries.

• Established work authorization and permanent residence in Canada for the Canadian opportunity.
