
Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Identify, attract, and onboard exceptional technical talent for Slate's Technology division.
• Provide guidance to Engineering, Product, and Design hiring teams regarding technical recruitment strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive intake meetings to grasp role specifications, technical scope, architecture, tools, challenges, team dynamics, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering leads to synchronize hiring timelines with production requirements, sprint schedules, and capacity deficiencies.
• Stay updated on technology stacks, architectural trends, and emerging tools.
• Establish and uphold structured interview accountability frameworks, defining clear roles, evaluation criteria, and feedback service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure hiring managers and interview panels are held accountable for providing timely, calibrated, and bias-aware feedback.
• Organize structured post-interview debrief sessions and facilitate calibration meetings.
• Develop and implement multi-channel recruitment strategies.
• Leverage sourcing technologies, AI-driven recruiting tools, CRM platforms, and talent intelligence solutions to engage with passive candidates.
• Conduct both technical and behavioral interviews, offering hire/no-hire recommendations.
• Build and sustain talent pipelines across frontend, backend, and UX disciplines.
• Provide transparent communication, timely feedback, and an outstanding candidate experience.
• Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) comprehensively, including job postings, candidate tracking, pipeline reporting, and data integrity.
• Monitor and report on Talent Acquisition key performance indicators (KPIs) while driving process enhancements.
• Identify pipeline capacity challenges and adjust sourcing investments, scope, or timeline expectations in collaboration with leadership.
• Promote engagement with a diverse talent pool through inclusive sourcing and structured evaluation practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in recruiting and sourcing, particularly focused on high-volume technical hiring for e-commerce and software product companies.
• Experience in Software Engineering, Technical Product Management, Data Science, UX/UI Design, and Systems Engineering across various seniority levels.
• Technical proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Java, REST/GraphQL APIs, AWS, Salesforce, and UX/UI design systems.
• Proven history of establishing and enforcing interview accountability structures.
• Ability to align hiring speed with engineering demand signals.
• More than 5 years of advanced sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Familiarity with additional sourcing and talent intelligence platforms is highly preferred.
• Required proficiency with Workday ATS.
• Experience with supplementary recruiting technologies, AI sourcing tools, and CRM platforms is strongly preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
