Recruitment Consultant – Social Care, UK Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Address live public sector needs as they emerge through Matrix SCM, Adecco, and other vendor platforms, ensuring submissions are made within the designated response window.

• Identify qualified social workers, team managers, and registered managers via job boards, the internal database, referrals, and direct outreach.

• Evaluate candidates based on registration, DBS status, right to work, references, availability, and salary expectations.

• Prepare submissions that comply with portal requirements, ensuring that no documentation is overlooked.

• Oversee candidates throughout the interview and offer process, maintaining communication even after placement.

• Ensure the ATS is updated daily to keep the pipeline and submissions visible.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of recruitment experience in the UK market, specifically on the agency side.

• UK recruitment experience is essential and cannot be compromised.

• Background in social care within a specialized agency or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with submitting public sector job openings through Matrix SCM and Adecco.

• Knowledge of UK social care compliance, including Social Work England registration, DBS, right to work, and referencing.

• Proven track record of performance on a live desk, demonstrating submission and fill numbers.

• Availability during 09:00 to 17:00 UK time.

• Access to high-speed internet, backup power, and a quiet working environment.

• Experience managing locum and contract desks, including timesheets, rate negotiations, and redeployment.

• Experience in both children's and adults' services.

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and a recruitment ATS or CRM.
