Senior Systems Intune Administrator – MAC Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide administration for Intune systems with a focus on integrating macOS within a Microsoft Active Directory environment for the Department of HUD.

• Lead the deployment process for integrating macOS devices.

• Configure and oversee zero-touch onboarding processes for Windows, Apple, and iOS/iPadOS systems.

• Manage macOS configuration profiles, MDM payloads, and Bash shell scripts.

• Define and oversee Windows baseline policies, administrative templates, PowerShell scripts, and remediation scripts.

• Package, test, and roll out applications across Windows, macOS, and iOS platforms.

• Maintain schedules for patching and automated software updates.

• Implement Conditional Access, App Protection, Compliance measures, identity integration, SSO, and Platform SSO policies.

• Manage disk encryption protocols using BitLocker and FileVault.

• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for technical issues related to endpoints.

• Monitor tenant health, device compliance failures, synchronization errors, and security vulnerabilities; address non-compliant assets.

• Maintain technical documentation, enrollment guides, and self-service instructions for end-users.

• Operate autonomously as a senior technical advisor; lead implementation and configuration discussions, identify potential risks and dependencies, develop remediation strategies, conduct complex troubleshooting, coordinate with various teams, mentor staff, and brief senior stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in system administration (or equivalent experience) OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.

• Additional years of relevant experience may be considered or accepted in place of a degree.

• Over 3 years of experience in Enterprise Endpoint Management, with at least 2 years focused on Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.

• Practical experience with integrating Apple Business Manager (ABM) with Intune, managing VPP apps, handling FileVault management, and executing Bash scripts on macOS.

• Familiarity with Windows Autopilot, BitLocker, PowerShell scripting, Win32 app packaging (IntuneWin App Prep Tool), and AD/Entra ID integration.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC, and Endpoint Security baselines.

• Experience in configuring iOS/iPadOS devices, Supervision, App Protection Policies (MAM without enrollment), and deploying Company Portal.

• Excellent skills in technical communication, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management.

• Experience in designing and implementing zero trust solutions.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a HUD Public Trust clearance.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Knowledge of JAMF is preferred.
