Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver 3rd level support to all RFA clients and RFA systems.

• Assist in maintaining client and RFA computer infrastructure.

• Coordinate intricate IT development, project management, implementation, and ongoing technology project support.

• Provide support for anti-spam, web-filtering, network perimeter defense appliances, and remote access solutions.

• Oversee and support storage and virtualization platforms.

• Act as an escalation point for server infrastructure issues.

• Support servers, Active Directory, and Exchange, including executing migrations and upgrades.

• Collaborate with Network Engineering, telephony, provisioning, and other IT infrastructure teams on network-related tasks.

• Assist in defining service-level agreements and customer requirements.

• Engage with clients to assess needs and enhance delivery processes.

• Provide updates on project plans, documentation, and closure reports.

• Address client infrastructure-related inquiries throughout project life cycles.

• Work directly with vendors for third-party server and software deployments.

• Design and revise project plans as necessary.

• Participate in meetings to gather requirements for on-site infrastructure implementations, relocations, cloud provisioning, and other initiatives.

• Collaborate with technical colleagues to create client solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience managing intricate technical development projects that involve the integration of multiple systems.

• Strong understanding of existing network programs and capabilities.

• Proficient in technical crisis management.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting.

• Familiarity with Citrix and terminal services.

• 5–6 years of practical experience configuring and supporting servers based on Microsoft operating systems.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Administration.

• Understanding of VMware virtualization technologies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange versions 2010, 2013, 2016, and Office 365.

• Knowledge of MDM solutions, including ActiveSync, MobileIron, and AirWatch.

• Experience supporting various SAN arrays.

• 1–2 years of practical experience with Azure.
