This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +18 more states.
• Design, implement, and oversee core enterprise systems, including computing resources, networks, storage, Exchange, both physical and virtual servers, Active Directory and Group Policy, Certificate Services, authentication platforms, and remote access/mobility solutions.
• Administer cloud-based platforms and services such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and AWS.
• Manage and maintain Citrix VDI, load balancing systems, and SSL certificate management.
• Monitor, sustain, and enhance system performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
• Execute routine, scheduled, and long-term maintenance alongside user-facing service tasks.
• Provide expert-level escalation support for intricate technical issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, training materials, and change management records.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as necessary.
• Ensure that integrations are secure, efficient, and compliant with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
• Implement security best practices and assist in compliance with relevant security protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate on risk assessments and formulate strategies to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Maintain documentation of data flows, API endpoints, schemas, and integration logic.
• Contribute to the selection, implementation, and enhancement of integration platforms.
• Support data quality, integrity, and reconciliation efforts across systems.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Systems and cross-functional technology teams to align infrastructure with business requirements and operational standards.
• Minimum of 10 years as a Systems Engineer with experience in Microsoft server and Linux operating systems within enterprise environments.
• At least 10 years of experience in designing, building, securing, and managing VMware virtualization technologies, including ESXi and vCenter.
• A minimum of 10 years working with hyper-converged infrastructure technologies such as Nutanix, Dell VxRail, or HPE.
• At least 10 years of experience with enterprise block, file, and object storage technologies, including SCSI/NVMe, CIFS/NFS, and S3.
• Minimum of 10 years working with enterprise backup and recovery technologies including Rubrik, Cohesity, or Veeam.
• Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-wide systems and compute infrastructure, as well as multiple infrastructure components simultaneously.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Windows enterprise environments, Active Directory, M365, and PKI design, support, and administration.
• Advanced knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, TCP/IP, DNS, and related protocols.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi network design and management.
• Working knowledge of encryption technologies and cybersecurity risk mitigation/system hardening techniques.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities for system utilities, automation, and administration.
• Proficiency with monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, Splunk, or Aria.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.
