Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement systems that operate on a variety of server operating systems across virtual, physical, and cloud infrastructures.

• Collaborate with hardware vendors to deliver tailored customer solutions.

• Utilize automation and best practices specifically for Linux-based operating systems.

• Ensure systems remain current with the latest software updates and security protocols.

• Embrace best-practice guidelines and execute continuous process enhancements.

• Engage in collaboration and brainstorming sessions with team members to guarantee quality and precision in solutions.

• Evaluate, develop, and refine processes to optimize resource use and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Offer support to L1 and L2 operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

• Competence in managing multiple projects and establishing stakeholder expectations.

• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud services like AWS and Azure, and hypervisors such as Qemu, VMware, and HyperV.

• Experience in scripting and automation using Ansible.

• Proficient knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.

• Understanding of Internet protocols including TCP/UDP, DNS, and/or HTTP/HTTPS.

• Proficient in conveying complex technical information to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

• Capability to collaborate, prioritize tasks, and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
