This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Analyze and document existing business processes and workflows.
• Identify system requirements and convert them into comprehensive specifications.
• Design and deploy solutions aimed at enhancing system efficiency and user experience.
• Provide expert support for Epic, Workday, UKG, and various other applications.
• Troubleshoot and promptly resolve system-related issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades and patches.
• Integrate healthcare applications within the IT portfolio and with other IT systems.
• Oversee smaller projects associated with system implementations and upgrades.
• Lead project teams utilizing established project management methodologies.
• Create and sustain documentation regarding system configurations and processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and offer guidance on best practices.
• Ensure smooth integration among healthcare applications.
• Manage data integrity and security across various systems.
• Conduct data analysis and produce reports as necessary.
• Serve as a liaison with managed service providers, vendors, and operational leadership.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Support safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
• Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare setting may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment.
• Extensive experience with Epic, Workday, and UKG applications.
• Proven history of managing complex projects and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Experience with system integration and data migration initiatives.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience interacting with managed service providers, vendors, and operational leadership.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Certifications in relevant technologies such as Epic, Workday, Microsoft, or UKG are advantageous.
• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
• Experience within a large healthcare system or hospital environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with other healthcare applications and systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards is important.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure is a plus.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools is preferred.
