This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Construct CI/CD pipelines, integration automation, and quality gates on Windows platforms.
• Lead collaborative engineering efforts with PC OEMs and internal engineering teams to establish integration requirements, facilitate self-hosting, support QA validation, and drive debugging towards verified resolutions.
• Automate the onboarding of platforms, staged deployments, configuration tracking, health monitoring, and recovery processes.
• Create telemetry-based diagnostics to differentiate product regressions from infrastructure or test failures.
• Convert diagnostic insights into confirmed fixes and regression coverage.
• Assist with UEFI integration alongside component owners, emphasizing validation across boot, ACPI, power transitions, updates, and recovery.
• Develop AI-driven workflows for automated regression detection, issue reproduction, and bug-fix validation.
• Utilize platform health metrics to assess reliability and time to resolution.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of pertinent firmware or system software development experience.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of UEFI integration and debugging, particularly with EDK II.
• Strong comprehension of ACPI, Windows internals, and the interactions between firmware and drivers.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Skilled in Python or PowerShell.
• Experience in constructing CI pipelines and hardware-based validation for Arm-based platforms.
• Proven experience in analyzing crash dumps, system logs, and telemetry to identify failures across system layers and evaluate engineering outcomes.
• Background in managing complex platform tasks in customer-facing roles involving PC OEM clients or firmware partners.
• Experienced in leading technical decisions across teams while maintaining hands-on involvement.
• In-depth systems expertise and practical experience in delivering Windows on Arm PCs.
• Familiarity with Windows internals, driver integration, performance, or power management.
• Demonstrated history of developing shared automation and diagnostic tools.
• Practical experience in applying AI or machine learning for log analysis, failure clustering, or evidence retrieval.
