This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for comprehensive supply chain operations supporting a key aerospace client.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top supply chain talent, including managers and key operational leaders.
• Offer coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Create succession plans and leadership pipelines.
• Set goals, metrics, and accountability measures.
• Lead large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Formulate and implement supply chain strategies that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Oversee and optimize demand planning, procurement and sourcing, inventory management, logistics and transportation, warehousing and distribution, supplier management, and materials management.
• Enhance operational performance through KPI management, trend analysis, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to meet service, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Support business growth through scalable processes, systems, and best operational practices.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Boost productivity through process optimization, automation, and the elimination of non-value-added activities.
• Develop and oversee forecasts for resources, capacity, inventory, and operational needs.
• Monitor departmental expenses and operational performance metrics.
• Act as a trusted partner to a significant aerospace client.
• Work in partnership with global Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and other functional teams.
• Communicate strategy, performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
• Serve as an escalation point for operational and customer-related challenges.
• A Bachelor's degree is required in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive supply chain experience across all primary supply chain functions, including planning, procurement, logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, supplier management, and materials operations.
• At least 4 years of people management experience leading managers, supervisors, and/or large operational teams.
• Proven success in leading supply chain operations within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience managing customer relationships and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more to support operations and customer activities in El Paso, TX.
• Preferred experience in supporting aerospace and defense customers as well as regulated manufacturing environments.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
• Experience managing cross-border supply chain operations between the United States and Mexico, including transportation, customs, trade compliance, and material flow optimization.
