Supply Chain and International Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage procurement activities, encompassing sourcing, vendor assessment, and contract negotiations.

• Build and sustain relationships with vendors and suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

• Supervise and maintain optimal inventory levels in alignment with production schedules.

• Conduct inventory audits, resolve discrepancies, and execute inventory control measures.

• Collaborate with production, operations, and other departments to anticipate material needs.

• Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.

• Monitor and analyze inventory KPIs, such as turnover, shrinkage, and lead times.

• Provide regular updates and reports to management.

• Identify potential improvements in procurement and inventory processes.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and inventory management, ideally within a manufacturing setting.

• In-depth understanding of inventory management systems, procurement processes, and vendor relationships.

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/inventory management software.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Capability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Basic proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

• Computer processor: at least a 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent.

• Computer memory/RAM: a minimum of 4.00 GB.

• Operating system: Windows 10 or Mac OSX; Linux, Unix, or other operating systems are not accepted.

• Internet speed: a plan of 5.0 MBPS or higher for both primary and backup connections.

• A noise-cancelling headset is required, connected via USB port.

• A webcam with a minimum of 3 megapixels and 720p recording capability is required.
