VP, Integrated Supply Chain

📋 Description

• Act as the senior leader responsible for performance, execution, and delivering client value across designated client engagements.

• Develop and sustain executive-level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on supply chain transformation and performance enhancement.

• Align client stakeholders, on-site teams, and Vizient functional leaders to a cohesive operating model.

• Formulate long-term supply chain strategies and transformation roadmaps.

• Oversee integrated supply chain delivery encompassing sourcing, value analysis, analytics, inventory, and operations.

• Convert enterprise and client strategy into quantifiable integrated operating plans.

• Propel savings initiatives, operational enhancements, and transformation endeavors.

• Guarantee coordinated execution across National Centers and between on-site and centralized teams.

• Recognize risks, eliminate obstacles, and guide structured problem-solving.

• Direct process redesign, standardization, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Aid in the implementation of tools, technologies, and capabilities that enhance scalability and client outcomes.

• Establish governance structures, decision rights, escalation pathways, and accountability frameworks.

• Define and track KPIs, dashboards, and management routines.

• Identify opportunities to broaden client scope, strengthen partnerships, enhance outcomes, and elevate engagement value.

• Collaborate with leadership on revenue growth and margin optimization strategies.

• Support business development through executive engagement, solution development, and operational credibility.

• Create scalable solutions and offerings for multiple clients.

• Foster alignment and results without direct authority among matrixed stakeholders.

• Guide teams through transitions and facilitate the adoption of new working methods.

• Offer structured guidance and feedback to promote performance and professional development.

• Balance enterprise standards with the specific needs of clients.

• Collaborate with National Center leadership to deploy expertise in a coordinated and scalable manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Advanced degree is desirable.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare supply chain, hospital operations, consulting, or related fields is required.

• Proven experience in leading complex, multi-site environments and large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in operating within highly matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authority.

• Strong record of delivering measurable financial and operational outcomes.

• Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders in health systems or similarly intricate organizations.

• Willingness to travel regularly and efficiently throughout the year to meet client needs and timelines.
