This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the appointed Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) for the organization.
• Assist in the development, execution, and management of small business subcontracting plans.
• Analyze subcontracting data for thoroughness, precision, consistency, and adherence to plans.
• Evaluate solicitations and contract stipulations to determine the relevance of subcontracting plans and reporting responsibilities.
• Contribute to proposal submissions that require narratives or information related to small business participation.
• Oversee subcontracting performance in relation to set objectives and contractual obligations.
• Keep records and supporting documentation for subcontracting activities, outreach initiatives, and compliance measures.
• Monitor small business participation across relevant programs and procurement processes.
• Prepare, assess, and submit mandatory reports in SAM.gov, including ISRs and SSRs.
• Assist with internal evaluations, audits, customer inquiries, and compliance assessments concerning subcontracting performance.
• Collaborate with contracts, procurement, subcontracts, business development, and program teams on strategies for small business participation.
• Identify qualified small business suppliers to support sourcing and proposal initiatives.
• Facilitate outreach efforts to connect with and engage qualified small business suppliers.
• Represent the organization at supplier outreach events, conferences, matchmaking sessions, and other external engagements.
• Maintain databases of suppliers, records of outreach, and information on small business resources.
• Submit Monthly FFATA reports on SAM.gov.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, contracts, business, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in high technology, aerospace, defense, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS/NFS and relevant Public Laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks, collaborate across various functions, and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
• Experience in government contracting, procurement, subcontracts, contracts administration, compliance, or supplier diversity.
• Familiarity with small business subcontracting plans and federal compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of SAM.gov reporting and subcontracting performance tracking.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting a federal contractor or Department of Defense contractor.
• Background in proposals, supplier outreach, or subcontract compliance assessments.
• Proficiency with ERP, procurement, or reporting systems used to monitor subcontracting data.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after starting employment.
