Senior Strategic Delivery Coordinator, DFIR – GRIT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee intricate, high-profile DFIR and GRIT projects from scoping and initiation to completion, working independently.

• Manage resources, deliverables, timelines, and client communications effectively.

• Act as the principal escalation point for critical projects, client concerns, and ongoing incident response situations.

• Facilitate resolution across technical teams, Practice Leadership, and Account Executives.

• Recognize and mitigate risks, changes in scope, and obstacles to delivery.

• Evaluate engagement deliverables for quality, consistency, and appropriateness for both technical and managerial audiences.

• Track hours, burn rate, and compliance with budgetary constraints.

• Cultivate trusted client relationships and lead status meetings, kickoff calls, and post-engagement reviews.

• Discover opportunities to broaden client engagements or suggest additional GuidePoint services.

• Create and implement repeatable delivery processes, automation, orchestration, playbooks, templates, checklists, and SOPs.

• Define and monitor delivery metrics and KPIs, reporting on delivery performance, capacity utilization, and overall engagement health.

• Mentor and support Delivery Coordinators.

• Conduct engagement debriefs and lessons-learned sessions.

• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.

• Collaborate on capacity planning, resource forecasting, engagement pipeline management, service offering development, practice growth planning, and organizational process maturity.

• Work alongside Sales Engineering, Account Executives, Finance/Billing, and Technical Consulting teams.

• Communicate engagement status, team well-being, risk posture, and strategic recommendations to Practice Leadership.

• Keep current with information security skills and knowledge.

• Perform other assigned responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in project management, delivery coordination, or engagement management within the cybersecurity consulting or managed services field.

• 2+ years of direct experience in Digital Forensics & Incident Response and/or Threat Intelligence operations.

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements from start to finish in a consulting services model.

• Familiarity with Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and Threat Intelligence methodologies, processes, and tools.

• Established track record in client relationship management and stakeholder communication at both technical and executive levels.

• Open to embracing emerging technologies, including AI tools.

• Strong understanding of network traffic analysis, host forensics, malware handling/triage, log review, attack surface monitoring, dark web intelligence, threat modeling, and incident response lifecycle methodologies.

• Extensive knowledge of EDR, NDR, XDR, SIEM, FW, NGAV, Velociraptor, OSQuery, and other relevant industry solutions.

• Relevant industry certifications are highly preferred, such as PMP, CAPM, SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

• Experience in designing and implementing process improvements, delivery frameworks, or operational workflows.

• Demonstrated capability to mentor, coach, or lead peers within a team setting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products and project management/collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce/Certinia.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Sedentary work environment.

• Significant movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours daily.

• Required close visual acuity for viewing computer screens and extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
