This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and enhance long-term national partnerships within complex, multi-hospital health systems.
• Spearhead executive-level engagement in designated health systems and base territory accounts within the western region.
• Represent Abbott at the senior level to C-suite and system leadership stakeholders.
• Build trusted advisor relationships by aligning Abbott Informatics capabilities with enterprise strategies, capital priorities, digital transformation initiatives, and patient safety objectives.
• Formulate and implement multi-year strategic account plans that promote system-wide adoption, expansion, renewal, and long-term realization of RALS value.
• Organize, coordinate, and lead multi-tiered consultative sales engagements involving executive, clinical, operational, IT, and laboratory leadership.
• Clearly convey product, clinical, operational, and economic value propositions utilizing data, outcome evidence, and peer-reviewed literature.
• Manage the Abbott Informatics relationship within assigned strategic and base territory accounts.
• Direct and oversee cross-functional Abbott teams across sales, implementation, customer success, service, marketing, and leadership.
• Serve as the primary escalation point and executive sponsor for complex enterprise implementations and system optimization initiatives.
• Propel sales growth, margin performance, and contract compliance while ensuring customer satisfaction and the stability of partnerships.
• Provide leadership and strategic oversight throughout sales cycles and account management.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in customer-facing field sales, sales management, or key account management.
• Minimum of 5 years in the healthcare or life sciences sector.
• Proficient knowledge and skill set to facilitate discussions regarding laboratory informatics products.
• Strong business planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent Microsoft Office and CRM proficiency.
• Demonstrated success in value-based, solution selling.
• Capability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve clearly defined objectives.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
