Senior Steel Reinforcement Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute accurate material quantity takeoffs utilizing advanced digital software for structural steel reinforcement, metal fabrication, rebar, and trench mesh systems.

• Analyze structural drawings, architectural plans, and concrete reinforcement schedules.

• Employ drafting and design systems to assess spatial dimensions and extract material metadata directly from project models.

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, assess supplier quotations, conduct risk analysis, and formulate structured commercial proposals.

• Detect discrepancies or missing technical documentation in plans and submit Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Sustain and refresh tracking databases for structural material pricing, labor units, and production timelines.

• Engage closely with cross-functional project delivery teams through phone, email, and virtual meetings.

• Collaborate directly with the Australian client's onshore team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 to 5 years of demonstrated professional experience focused on estimating steel-reinforced concrete systems (e.g., Rebar, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.

• Proficient knowledge of digital takeoff systems such as Bluebeam Revu or Planswift.

• Skilled in navigating AutoCAD and Revit to confirm structural dimensions, layers, and building information models.

• Extensive knowledge of Australian/international standards, steel structural codes, and construction methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills suitable for direct interaction with internal teams and vendors.
