Senior Statistical Programmer/Analyst Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the programming deliveries for a clinical study or project.

• Execute statistical programming elements of the protocol and clinical development initiative.

• Maintain a high standard of quality in personal deliverables and those produced by fellow programmers.

• Code autonomously with exceptional efficiency and quality.

• Draft and/or implement specifications, ensuring the completeness of pertinent documentation.

• Contribute to best practices that enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness within the function.

• Ensure adherence to standards and the use of automation.

• Organize and support team activities and responsibilities.

• Communicate and escalate risks associated with assigned studies and/or projects.

• Collaborate proactively with study team members, including the Statistician, Lead Programmer, Data Manager, and Study Leader.

• Operate under the guidance, oversight, and direction of a Programming team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS), statistics, or related scientific fields with 5 years of clinical programming (CDISC) experience; or a Master’s degree in CS, statistics, or related fields with 6 years of clinical programming (CDISC) experience.

• Familiarity with ICH and Good Clinical Practices, clinical research, the clinical trial process, and associated regulatory requirements and terminology.

• Solid understanding of the clinical drug development process.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Up-to-date knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements pertinent to the role.

• Capability to proactively manage multiple activities within a project.

• Proficient in influencing relevant stakeholders regarding programming-related matters.

• High technical expertise and comprehensive industry knowledge.

• Ability to work independently in a client-facing capacity.

• Capacity to cultivate a high-trust environment with client counterparts.
