This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Create tailored programming code utilizing SAS or alternative software to produce summary tables, data listings, graphs, and derived datasets in line with statistical analysis plans and programming requirements.
• Ensure that all outputs align with quality benchmarks and project specifications.
• Conduct validation programming and address any inconsistencies in collaboration with Programmers, Biostatisticians, and the project team.
• Uphold comprehensive and current project documentation, including testing, verification, and quality-control materials for readiness for inspection.
• Oversee schedules and priorities across various projects while adjusting workloads to accommodate timeline modifications.
• Formulate specifications for datasets and outputs while anticipating potential programming challenges.
• Organize and facilitate internal meetings, disseminate information and minutes, and ensure action items are completed.
• Lead statistical programming initiatives and guide other programming staff.
• Track the progress of programming deliverables.
• Review Statistical Analysis Plans, mock shells, programming specifications, annotated CRFs, and SAS database architectures.
• Engage in sponsor meetings, kickoff sessions, and bid defense meetings as the representative for statistical programming.
• Provide mentorship to programming staff through training, work evaluations, feedback, and process direction.
• Transfer deliverables and execute other assigned work-related responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a scientific or statistical field; alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and proven programming experience.
• Significant programming experience in SAS or other necessary software, preferably in a clinical trial setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
• Capability to devise specifications for datasets and outputs of varying complexity in accordance with statistical and sponsor standards.
