Senior State Filings Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and analysis while providing guidance to management on product compliance with state insurance regulations.

• Execute filing activities within SERFF.

• Address regulatory objections by liaising with state insurance departments and executing necessary follow-ups.

• Notify Product and Underwriting teams about changes in forms and other compliance matters affecting product offerings.

• Collaborate with Compliance teams to ensure that customer assessments and surcharges are updated across all systems.

• Oversee the annual compliance filings, such as the GA Schedule Mod, ensuring their completion in SERFF.

• Coordinate with Product and/or Underwriting teams regarding workers’ compensation updates resulting from bureau or NCCI filing modifications.

• Monitor ISO changes for Businessowners policies and facilitate their implementation following product owner approval.

• Conduct quality control checks.

• Manage filings associated with the California Public Utilities Commission and set up WC Bureau accounts as necessary.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines.

• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and experience equivalent.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in state product filing within the P&C industry.

• This position may offer remote work options.

• Required travel of 1 to 2 times per year.
