Senior STAT Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate all STAT tasks within the designated portfolio

• Compile monthly assignments such as flux analysis and balance sheet reconciliations

• Conduct monthly account analyses to detect any unusual or irregular transactions and propose solutions

• Offer support to fellow STAT accounting personnel and aid in mentoring team members to fulfill client deadlines

• Execute year-end financial closing procedures, including reconciliations from US GAAP to local GAAP and the preparation of local GAAP financial statements

• Act as a primary liaison for quarterly and year-end audits, including the preparation of the auditors' PBC list

• Contribute to various ad hoc accounting, tax, and finance initiatives

• Provide support to the financial department across multiple European nations and engage in audit activities and year-end closing processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Advanced skills in Excel

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting

• Capability to organize and manage large volumes of data

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Effective communication skills with a proactive, supportive, and positive demeanor

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Willingness to travel as required by client and job obligations

• Knowledge of SAP ERP is mandatory

• Experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment is advantageous
