Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the shared foundation and the essential components it provides to other software, ensuring their reliability and security.

• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) and develop unique advantages for Firefox that the standard may not encompass.

• Create safety measures that allow individuals to authorize actions, monitor when software operates on their behalf, and regain control.

• Establish the strategy for prominent third-party AI assistants that users currently engage with.

• Support internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and external tools through a unified layer.

• Promote adoption across teams and tools, enhance platform usage, and maintain reliability and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A product-oriented engineer, or a highly technical PM capable of advancing a technical product.

• Experience in the developer space, with the ability to consider both consumer and internal platforms.

• Comfortable making strategic decisions in uncertain situations; responsible for a technical contract relied upon by other teams.

• Strong instincts regarding security and trust issues.

• Preferred: knowledge of web standards, MCP, and browser automation.
