Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the shared foundation and the essential components it provides to other software, ensuring they are reliable and secure.

• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) and create unique advantages for Firefox that the standard may not address.

• Develop safety controls that allow users to approve actions, monitor when software is operating on their behalf, and regain control.

• Establish the strategy for integrating major third-party AI assistants that users are already familiar with.

• Support internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and external tools through a unified shared layer.

• Lead strategy and execution in a dynamic, greenfield technical environment.

• Prioritize adoption across teams and tools, platform usage volume, long-term reliability, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A product-focused engineer, or a highly technical PM capable of driving a technical product.

• Experience in the developer space, with a breadth of understanding that encompasses both consumer and internal platforms.

• Ability to establish strategy amid uncertainty; responsible for a technical contract relied upon by other teams.

• Strong instincts regarding security and trustworthiness.

• Nice to have: familiarity with web standards, MCP, and browser automation.
