Senior Staff Product Manager, Browser Control Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the shared infrastructure and ensure the reliability and security of the foundational components provided to other software.

• Advance the open standard (WebDriver BiDi) and develop exclusive advantages for Firefox that the standard does not address.

• Create safety mechanisms that allow users to approve actions, monitor software activities on their behalf, and regain control when necessary.

• Establish the strategy for prominent third-party AI assistants that are already in use.

• Support both internal teams (Smart Window, New Products) and external tools through a unified shared layer.

• Promote adoption across teams and tools, enhance platform usage volume, and maintain consistent reliability and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A product-focused engineer or a highly technical project manager capable of steering a technical product.

• Experience in the developer space, with the ability to consider both consumer needs and internal platforms.

• Proficient in setting strategies amid uncertainty; responsible for a technical agreement upon which other teams rely.

• Strong intuition regarding security and trust issues.

• Preferred qualifications: familiarity with web standards, MCP, and browser automation.
