This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of SCADA governance and lead the scaling strategy for implementing SCADA in modular, colocation, and hyperscale data center initiatives.
β’ Establish standards and mechanisms for uniform data structures, operational data, and telemetry.
β’ Manage the tag naming taxonomy and oversee interactions with the control layer for all assigned SCADA implementations.
β’ Direct the use of version control systems across ongoing projects and ensure the integrity of configurations.
β’ Create and uphold governance documentation that encompasses tagging, version control, and vendor standards.
β’ Collaborate with engineering colleagues to devise project-flexible strategies that uphold deployment consistency.
β’ Ensure that governance frameworks and technical methodologies are feasible for vendor field teams to implement.
β’ Act as a Subject Matter Expert for complex or unclear documentation and governance inquiries.
β’ Elevate the technical standards by sharing insights and knowledge with colleagues.
β’ Offer direct support to vendors during escalation incidents and First of Kind deployments.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in mission-critical or similar critical industrial control systems settings.
β’ Profound expertise in the Ignition SCADA platform and version control systems related to industrial control projects.
β’ Strong understanding of hosting methodologies, including containerization and orchestration, as well as bare-metal deployment.
β’ Basic comprehension of server hardware and topologies.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP / RTU, BACnet IP / MS/TP, EtherNet/IP, along with familiarity with IEC 61850 and associated IO protocols.
β’ Working knowledge of OT/ICS security principles, including the Purdue model and secure remote access practices.
β’ Capability to clearly articulate intricate technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
β’ Relevant experience with hyperscale portfolios, OT security controls, Linux, containerization, industrial networking, and applicable industrial cybersecurity or SCADA certifications are advantageous qualifications.
β’ Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
