Senior Staff Engineer – Developer Experience, Identity Management, Authorization

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in enhancing how customers utilize observability for their infrastructure and service architecture.

• Utilize AI infrastructure such as LLMs and ML to develop innovative features for customers.

• Create experiences and systems that help contextualize vast amounts of telemetry data.

• Contribute to shaping the architecture of a rapidly expanding platform.

• Collaborate with technically proficient teammates and customers.

• Enhance the company's system observability by utilizing its own product.

• Improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of distributed systems.

• Mentor engineers and assist in maintaining engineering standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python, Rust).

• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude) integrated into daily software development practices.

• Proven experience in building and managing highly available systems in a production environment.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Experience in designing scalable APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in owning and executing projects from initiation to completion.

• Capability to work autonomously with sound judgement on when to advance or seek assistance.

• A collaborative work style with a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment.

• Ability to operate efficiently in a remote-first setting.
