Manager, Data Science – Consumer and Developer Experience

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist in advancing strategic priorities for leaders in Consumer and Developer Experience as part of the product strategy team.

β€’ Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and product managers to create customer-centric products and achieve business outcomes.

β€’ Utilize Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark, and other technologies to extract insights from extensive numeric and textual datasets.

β€’ Develop machine learning models through design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation processes.

β€’ Transform intricate data science tasks into clear business objectives.

β€’ Investigate and assess emerging technologies and implement cutting-edge methodologies.

β€’ Create prototypes and collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance digital experiences.

β€’ Examine strategic and analytical inquiries across digital engagement, marketing platforms, personalization, supplier and vendor products, and risk management solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field and 6 years of experience in data analytics, or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative focus and 4 years of experience, or a PhD in a quantitative field with 1 year of experience.

β€’ Minimum of 1 year of experience with open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis.

β€’ At least 1 year of experience in machine learning.

β€’ A minimum of 1 year of experience using relational databases.

β€’ Practical experience in developing data science solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.

β€’ Familiarity with model building, validation, and backtesting.

β€’ Experience with clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning techniques.

β€’ Proficient in retrieving, combining, and analyzing data from diverse sources and formats.

β€’ Preferred: PhD in STEM with 3 years of experience in data analytics.

β€’ Preferred: At least 1 year of experience with AWS.

β€’ Preferred: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Python, Scala, or R for large-scale data analysis.

β€’ Preferred: At least 4 years of experience in machine learning.

β€’ Preferred: Minimum of 4 years of experience with SQL.
