Senior Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Go-based data pipelines for growth analytics, encompassing event ingestion and dependable reporting.

• Evaluate marketing technology integrations and replace or discontinue tools that are underperforming or redundant.

• Design and implement experimentation infrastructure to facilitate clean A/B testing and precise measurement.

• Deliver full-stack growth features utilizing Go and TypeScript, covering backend services to frontend execution.

• Leverage machine learning for personalization, predictive modeling, and experiment analysis, ensuring systems are production-ready.

• Assess experiment designs and code produced by other growth engineers.

• Utilize AI tools on a daily basis to enhance productivity and elevate the engineering standards of the team.

• Define architecture and technical strategy for Growth Engineering as a senior individual contributor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in full-stack development, data and analytics infrastructure, and marketing technology systems.

• Proficient knowledge in Golang and TypeScript at a production level.

• Proven history of designing production-level analytics and data pipelines.

• Practical experience in constructing and deploying machine learning systems in a production environment.

• Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment, particularly in refactor-versus-rewrite scenarios.

• Proficient in AI-assisted development with regular use of AI tools.

• Experience in establishing technical direction for a growth or data team amid ambiguity and limited supervision.

• Previous involvement in a marketplace, fintech, or consumer product with substantial user scale (preferred).

• Knowledge of prediction markets, financial products, or real-time data systems (preferred).

• Experience in people management (preferred).
