This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Oversee and resolve the complete process of employee exits across various international jurisdictions.
β’ Provide guidance to clients regarding termination, resignation, transfer, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures.
β’ Facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, which include discussions on workforce reductions, hearings, separation negotiations, settlements, and termination resolutions.
β’ Advocate for and negotiate favorable outcomes in intricate termination scenarios.
β’ Collaborate with payroll, legal advisors, government agencies, trade unions, and other relevant parties.
β’ Create, customize, and manage termination documents and supplementary paperwork while ensuring the confidentiality of employee records.
β’ Handle offboarding processes within Remoteβs internal HRIS platform in conjunction with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams.
β’ Act as a subject-matter expert for offboarding inquiries.
β’ Assist clients in navigating Employee Relations resources, policies, and procedures.
β’ Perform initial assessments of workplace issues and relevant local regulations.
β’ Manage employee relations matters effectively.
β’ Support progressive disciplinary measures and documentation.
β’ Track employee relations cases and follow up with pertinent stakeholders.
β’ Contribute to enhancements in processes, automation, product development, and initiatives aimed at improving customer and employee experiences.
β’ Background as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, encompassing generalist HR skills and experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing both voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with empathy, sensitivity, and adherence to legal standards.
β’ Proven ability to deliver comprehensive HR support and advice on employment laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.
β’ Competence in interpreting and applying industrial instruments, analyzing complex HR issues, conducting research, presenting practical solutions, and communicating recommendations.
β’ Fundamental understanding of employee relations principles, progressive disciplinary practices, and the basics of workplace investigations.
β’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
β’ Strong inclination towards innovation, process improvement, automation, and adherence to best practices.
β’ Proficient in operational efficiency, meticulous record-keeping, and maintaining data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy; capable of collaborating asynchronously using various tools and adapting to changing systems.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international, asynchronous remote environment with competing priorities.
