This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Provide guidance to leadership on matters related to employees, organizational structure, and legal compliance.
β’ Develop tools and resources to assist franchisees in managing their human resources effectively.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for franchisees throughout the network, addressing their daily HR management needs.
β’ Foster strong relationships with franchisees and partners to enhance the overall HR management of the group.
β’ Create relevant partnerships and initiatives to bolster HR management across the network.
β’ Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and standards in Quebec and Canada.
β’ Draft and revise HR policies and tools in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
β’ Identify, prioritize, and rectify instances of non-compliance with provincial legislation related to human resources management.
β’ Supervise and engage in the entire staffing process, including job design, workforce planning, recruitment, candidate selection, onboarding, and integration.
β’ Assist franchisees with matters related to compensation, benefits, salary structures, and pay equity obligations.
β’ Participate in industry events to stay updated and network.
β’ Contribute to fostering a strong organizational culture and employer brand.
β’ Undertake other related responsibilities as needed.
β’ Bachelor's degree in business administration (preferred).
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
β’ Fully fluent in both French and English.
β’ Strong understanding of general HR practices.
β’ Familiarity with various HR functions, including labor relations, staffing, compensation, training, organizational development, and performance management.
β’ Intrapreneurial mindset: proactive and innovative in creating value within the organization.
β’ Capability to advise managers on intricate matters.
β’ Ability to clearly articulate HR and legal concepts to franchisees.
β’ Proficient in the complete staffing process.
β’ Relational leadership: adept at establishing and maintaining solid relationships with partners and franchisees.
β’ Strong organizational skills: excellent planning and prioritization abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Team-oriented: effective collaboration with various departments and partners.
