Senior Specialist, Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire billing, collections, and reconciliation process.

• Act as the primary contact for service teams regarding billing inquiries.

• Lead the rollout of the new billing module from initial scoping to go-live.

• Develop billing automation that encompasses the majority of revenue categories.

• Minimize reliance on manual processes and spreadsheet-based billing tasks.

• Implement consistent tracking for overdue invoices.

• Aim to decrease aged accounts receivable.

• Generate a live, self-updating dashboard for leadership showcasing invoiced, collected, charged, and delta amounts.

• Identify and assist in resolving structural issues arising from migration, including reconciliation across different entities or revenue types.

• Suggest strategies for tackling billing and reconciliation challenges.

• Work closely with the Finance team during month-end closing and collaborate with service teams on their billing requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in mapping the calculation, billing, and reconciliation of revenue types, including pinpointing manual breakpoints.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a system implementation or migration from start to finish, covering scoping, sequencing, and execution.

• Record of developing repeatable, automated processes from manual or spreadsheet-intensive beginnings.

• Capability to work independently in uncertain conditions.

• Proficient in determining when to take action and when to escalate issues to Finance or leadership.

• Strong collaboration skills with Finance during month-end closing and with service teams regarding billing needs.

• Must be able to respond to inquiries about previous improvements in billing, collections, or reconciliation processes.

• Must be prepared to discuss the utilization of AI tools in the workplace.

• Must possess authorization to address visa sponsorship requirements for employment in the United States.
