Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate, issue, and distribute precise client invoices associated with payroll runs.

• Manage unique, exception-based, and workaround billing situations related to payroll activities.

• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts diligently.

• Keep accurate billing records along with details of client accounts and employee counts.

• Reconcile billed amounts with client contracts, payroll processing agreements, or service-level terms.

• Process client payments and allocate them to the appropriate invoices or accounts.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries regarding payroll charges.

• Compile aging reports and updates on billing status.

• Assist in month-end billing closure and reporting.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to boost billing accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain organized and precise billing documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to address billing inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or relevant finance/accounting roles.

• Capability to manage non-standard or manual billing scenarios tied to payroll activities.

• Strong judgment to resolve billing issues accurately.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a remote setting.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

• Proficient in using Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting purposes.

• Reliable internet connection is essential.
