
Senior Sourcing Manager β AI Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the portfolio of Sourcing AI initiatives for Gas Power Sourcing.
β’ Develop and implement an AI roadmap that spans source-to-buy, supplier management, contract intelligence, cost forecasting, commercial escalation, RFx automation, spend analytics, compliance, and process efficiency.
β’ Convert sourcing challenges into problem statements, process maps, requirements, user stories, data requirements, success metrics, and deployment strategies.
β’ Act as the business product owner or initiative leader for AI proof-of-concepts, pilots, and large-scale deployments.
β’ Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Digital Technology, AI teams, data engineering, legal, compliance, cybersecurity, finance, sourcing leaders, and external partners.
β’ Lead AI value streams, recognize benefits, and ensure value realization following production deployment.
β’ Promote responsible AI practices, which include data management, access controls, validation, human-in-the-loop reviews, traceability, output quality checks, and compliance.
β’ Establish operating rhythms for initiative reviews, portfolio dashboards, risk and blocker escalation, milestone tracking, value realization, and executive updates.
β’ Employ Lean principles to streamline, standardize, and digitize sourcing processes prior to automation.
β’ Spearhead change management and adoption planning, encompassing stakeholder engagement, communications, training, usage monitoring, feedback mechanisms, and ongoing support.
β’ Craft executive narratives that address business value, trade-offs, risks, adoption status, investment needs, and decision points.
β’ Identify avenues to minimize manual tasks, shorten sourcing cycle times, enhance supplier and contract insights, prevent cost leakage, and boost transparency.
β’ Mentor and influence global stakeholders in a matrixed setting while maintaining accountability for business ownership and measurable results.
β’ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
β’ Significant experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement Operations, Commercial Operations, Digital Transformation, Analytics, or a closely related field.
β’ Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects within a global, matrixed environment.
β’ Experience in driving change management and user adoption of new processes and tools.
β’ Capability to translate business requirements into structured specifications, operating rhythms, project plans, and measurable results.
β’ Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier management, RFx execution, contract lifecycle, spend analytics, compliance, and operational performance management.
β’ Ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, create actionable recommendations, and influence stakeholders at various levels.
β’ Experience in preparing leadership updates, executive summaries, business cases, and materials for decision support.
β’ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical or analytical subjects for non-technical business stakeholders.
β’ Proficiency in English.
β’ Must be a citizen of the country of application.
β’ Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
β’ Desired: Masterβs degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
β’ Desired: Experience with AI, generative AI, agentic workflows, automation, machine learning, advanced analytics, or digital product delivery in procurement or supply chain.
β’ Desired: Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, Jaggaer / SourceGate+, Sourcing 360, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar procurement and analytics tools.
β’ Desired: Experience with proof-of-concept development, agile delivery, product ownership, user acceptance testing, solution validation, or large-scale deployment of digital tools.
β’ Desired: Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, project management, agile, data analytics, or product management.
β’ Strong process orientation and ability to simplify workflows, document standard practices, and maintain improvements through daily management.
β’ Ability to collaborate with internal and external technology partners while safeguarding company data, intellectual property, and compliance standards.
